Aims |

|
Language course aimed to offer a theme-based task designed syllabus to
encourage you to use your newly-acquired language in real life
communication. We teach grammar and vocabulary as a means of facilitating
communication.
On
the other hand, while you learn Bahasa Indonesia, we introduce you to a
series of lectures and workshops led by experts in the relevant fields.
Topics include: Tourism Around Malang, Javanese Ethics, Cultural ‘Dos and
Don’ts’, Introducing the Moslem Life, A Visit to the Centre of the Topeng
Malang Performance in Tumpang, and visiting the traditional ritual at
Mount Kawi

In
our Study Bahasa Indonesia at KBA of UMM, we offer a package combining
Indonesian language training with the cultural studies of Indonesian,
particularly Javanese and visiting exciting places, especially the folk
culture of Malang. The key features of the programs are: small class size,
the option of homestay accommodation with friendly families, stimulating
and innovative approaches to teaching and reasonable course fees. Students
are business people, expatriates or tourists who stay in Malang. The
teachers are lectures and native speaker of Bahasa Indonesia all holding a
Master of University Degree and have high teaching qualification

Time and Course Start
Information |
Classes are usually conducted from Monday to Friday in the mornings or
evenings. Language Course consisting of 90’ x 16 meetings programmed 2
times a week.
Cultural Studies consisting of 90’ x 11 meetings programmed once a week.
The
class will open if we have at least 5 students.

Course Fees |
The
fees for the individual parts of the course package is Rp. 350.000,-
(Three hundred and fifty thousands rupiahs)
(includes: materials, notepad, folder, member of Resource Center, and
certificate).
The
fee doesn’t include the culture studies for visiting places around Malang.

Classroom with audio-visual system such as OHP, television, LCD, stereo
set, video dan DVD.

Self-Access Study materials and facilities such as VHS player, VCD/DVD/CD
